1. Manage and drive the NPD process of the product category across all functional areas from brief. (formula and packaging) to production delivering the required products at the right cost and to the agreed launch date.
2. Initiate and continue new concepts/products Funnel to Focus activities.
3. Activities to include proof of concept market viability and validation. Owning and leading NPD project for Organic Harvest with a multiple SKU line up.
4. Run a weekly NPD meeting ensuring all key functions input as expected and developments stay on track Keep key stakeholders up to date and informed on the status of all projects.
5. Work closely with our Operations and Marketing teams to ensure launches happen on time. Develop a strong relationship with all our external 3rd party vendors understanding their strengths and weaknesses and identify new innovations/ technologies fitting to our brand strategy relevant to our business.
6. Have a keen awareness of worldwide innovations trends consumer feedback and competitor activity
7. Competitor analysis Market Survey and recommend the new product. (OTC Products Ayurveda Health & wellness)
8. Identification of new product as per the category
9. Identification & new Vendor Development
10. Working closely with Designers and content team to finalize Artwork for Packaging as per the industry standards
11. Working on COGS for individual product/new product.
12. End to end ownership of Revamping of existing products and new product development.
Basically the role involves starting from scratch of idea generation till the product is in hand.
