Our client is a leading provider of specialized solutions in the incorporation of digital technologies within all business areas. They are looking for exceptional sales talent to join their Cape Town team. Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities in the Corporate IT Training Market, which involve one or a combination of the following elements of the People Solutions offering: Business Strategies and Metrics, People Strategies, Processes and Systems, Training and Development Strategies, Training Delivery.
  • Building and managing an individual pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Staying abreast of changes to the Peoples Solutions offering to the market as well as relevant developments in the industry.
  • Combining a solid understanding of the customer s IT environment with in-depth product knowledge and industry awareness to offer corporate customers an integrated IT Training Solutions.
  • Planning an approach to these customers that addresses their business requirements
  • Building a database of relevant information on these customers and getting appointments with a sufficient number of these customers to build an individual pipeline
  • Qualifying the new business opportunities that result from these initial steps in the sales process
  • Pursuing these genuine business opportunities and complete the sales process with the customers
  • Understanding the business drivers around the customer s IT training requirements
  • Creating a differentiated value proposition that addresses these business drivers
  • Confirming the value proposition and presenting the value proposition to the customers
  • Turning these customers into existing customers with whom we do repeat business


Requirements

Educational Qualifications:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
  • Sales training
  • Tertiary business qualification will be advantageous
  • Sound understanding of Learning Technology


Skills and Experience:


  • At least two years experience in a Business Development or Sales Executive role, accompanied by a proven track record of achievement against individual sales target.
  • Business Development/Sales experience in the IT training industry or broader IT industry will be preferable
  • A solid understanding of the business drivers that influence customer decisions in the Corporate IT Training Market
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Professional proposal writing skills Excellent computing skills (MS Office and Excel and Word)are essential
  • Strong numerical ability/ financial acumen
  • Strong consulting ability
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Well versed in the English language (speak, read & write) and ability to clearly communicate at all levels
  • Proficiency with necessary Learning Solutions technology, including computers, software solution applications, phone systems, etc.
  • Ability to guide other team members in identifying trends and establishing related goals
  • Ability and willingness to identify opportunities and facilitating knowledge sharing amongst teams
  • Strong performance management experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key product owners both internal and external
  • Ability to deal with complex customer queries and concerns
  • Ability to step outside of existing thinking and methodologies when troubleshooting issues
  • Professional with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Ability to motivate, coach and influence people positively
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage workload and prioritise activities
  • A successful track record in meeting targets and achieving premium customer service
  • Analytical and results orientated
  • Proactive and open to change or new approaches
  • Demonstrates persistence and passion to deliver excellence in everything done
