We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our security team in support of a New Yorkbased customer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and securing critical technology infrastructure ensuring the smooth operation of our customers network systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Network Infrastructure Management:
   
• Proficiently manage and secure critical technology infrastructure.
  
• Maintain and optimize Cisco switches DWDM and SONET systems.
  
2. Cisco and Windows Server/Active Directory Environment:
   
• Work seamlessly within Cisco and Windows Server/Active Directory environments.
  
• Handson experience with Active Directory maintenance and management.
  
3. Network Segmentation:
   
• Implement effective network segmentation and isolation strategies.
  
4. Routing and Switching:
   
• Expertise in BGP OSPF and advanced switching technologies.
  
5. Cisco ISE/Stealthwatch:
   
• Utilize Cisco ISE and Stealthwatch for enhanced network security.
  
6. Virtualization and Infrastructure:
   
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and virtual switches.
  
7. AAA (Authentication Authorization and Accounting):
   
• Implement and manage AAA protocols for network security.
  
8. Vulnerability and Patch Management:
   
• Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities and implement effective patch management strategies.
  
9. Forescout and Containment Tools:
   
• Familiarity with Forescout and containment tools for network security.
  
10. Nozomi and Gigamon Maintenance:
    
• Manage and maintain Nozomi and Gigamon tools effectively.
  

Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory; we cannot support H1B or other work authorizations.
  
• Extensive handson experience in Cisco switches DWDM and SONET.
  
• Indepth knowledge of BGP OSPF and advanced Cisco technologies.
  
• Proven experience in network segmentation and isolation.
  
• Active Directory maintenance and management expertise.
  
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE/Stealthwatch Virtualization (VMware) and AAA protocols.
  
• Knowledge of vulnerability and patch management.
  
• Experience with Forescout and containment tools.
  
• Proficient in Nozomi and Gigamon maintenance and management.
