Job Title: Network Analyst II

Responsibilities:
- Provide regular updates on work progress to the director.
- Promptly escalate and seek guidance on challenges and problems for prioritization or direction.
- Configure and install hardware including switches routers and wireless access points.
- Assist in network support covering performance monitoring and security updates/patches.
- Support the maintenance of firewalls and related rules.
- Analyze system failures correct errors recover systems and address corrupted data.
- Maintain documentation for all network procedures installations and upgrades.
- Assist in the maintenance of the VoIP phone system.
- Respond to user inquiries support requests and trouble reports related to information technology systems policies and procedures.
- Utilize the ticketing system to keep a clear log of requests problems and resolutions.
- Support network services function on a 24/7 oncall schedule as part of the team.
- Travel to BiState facilities as needed to investigate issues and perform onsite work.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the director.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Handson experience with implementing maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco switches routers and access points.
- Proficient in the implementation of local and wide area networks virtual private networks and virtual local area networks.
- Familiarity with Cisco management tools including DNA ISE and WLC.
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting wireless signals with mapping coverage as a plus.
- Knowledge of BGP EIGRP STP/RSTP/MSTP.
- Understanding of routing and switching concepts and technology.
- Handson experience with QoS.
- Experience with large L3/L2 network support.
- Familiarity and experience with fiberbased networks and SFPs.
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager/VoIP is advantageous.
- Experience with SIP trunking is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10 Windows Server).
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with technical and business personnel.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written across diverse backgrounds and technical abilities.
- Ability to participate in teams of technical professional and nonmanagement members.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently set priorities maintain schedules and adapt to challenging situations.
- Capable of physically lifting and carrying desktop and network computer equipment supplies and tools.
- Certifications in Cisco and related technologies are advantageous (CCNA CCNP Enterprise CCNP Security CCNP Collaboration).

Education & Experience:
- Degree: BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
- Years: Minimum of three (3) years of network/infrastructure experience and a total of 7 or more years of experience in Information Technology.
- Field: Computer Science or other related studies.
