Location: Onsite / Hybrid Working Model, Dublin 8
Contract: Initial 12 Months FTE / Permanent
Start date: November 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Experience Level Required:
It is a mandatory requirement,
Minimum of 7 years in the required domain
A third-level degree in software engineering or equivalent.

Participate in a team of highly talented API developers in delivering large and complex API solutions.
Design, implement, test, and deploy APIs using the latest technologies and best practices.
Communicate risks, issues, challenges and status/progress of the project.
Participate in code reviews and testing of other developer s solutions.
Perform tests and debugging to maximize application efficiency and performance.
Provide third level support to production systems as required.
Assist with the definition and preparation of documents relating to requirements, design, architecture, and test scripts.
Assist the API technical architect in defining the API roadmap, strategy and solutions.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the highest quality of delivered software.
Follow and champion best practices and secure coding practices
Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:
7+ years developing APIs using the Microsoft .Net (Core) stack. You will be working on .Net 6.0+.
Good understanding and exposure to the ASP.Net (Core) MVC framework.
Deep understanding of RESTful concepts using a Design First approach using Open API standards.
Knowledge of Firewalls, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, Containers, Authentication schemas.
Understanding/experience of Microsoft s DevOps server platform or similar, including git trunk based development processes.
Software and enterprise design patterns, unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management.
Software engineering or equivalent certification e.g. Microsoft MCSD or MCSCE
Full Time
