NCAOC PowerBI Developer/Programmer

The NorthCarolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) Fiscal Services Divisionis seeking a candidate to develop dashboards and reports from data housed inthe North Carolina Financial System (NCFS). The position will buildrelationships and work collaboratively with internal partners (seniormanagement subject matter experts) as well as organizational stakeholders toidentify relevant data set and structure data for analysis and visualization.The position will work independently in a remote environment. The position is expected to be filled for at least three months or until the project is completed.

The Power BIDeveloper/Programmer will develop and deliver visual dashboards reports andinfographics that assist in understanding and the communication of financialdata. The dashboards and reports shall be published for internal NCAOC users.The position will design engaging and interactive business insight dashboardsusing Power BI and possesses the knowledge and experience on data visualizationbest practices with a focus on enhancing interaction and experience.

Commonresponsibilities of the role:

• Maintain data and analytic model structures that support agency goals;
• Perform analysis of data sets in support of operational performance improvements;
• Translate data analytics into coherent reports and presentations for internal stakeholders;
• Establish new reporting dashboards that are interactive creative and have professional visual graphics;
• Integrate data sources through programmatic interfaces (Python/APIs) for efficiency;
• Participate in gathering requirements and collaborating with customers to understand business problems and find the best way to visualize outcomes;
• Participate as a valueadded contributor within the NCAOC Fiscal Services Division.
• Train endusers on how touse the dashboards and reports effectively.
