About Professional Nanny Jobs

Being a nanny is more than just being a babysitter. Your job is to be engaging, educational, and highly reliable. Nannies are loving and caring go-getters with significant professional childcare experience. You are responsible for the safety of infants and toddlers. You will safely organize educational games and activities that stimulate their minds. In addition, we ask that you are highly independent and can make decisions independently. Your childcare experience will direct you on responding to emergencies, encouraging positive behaviors, and being a good leader. In addition, while the kids are napping, you help care for the household by cleaning and cooking. Each household asks for differing levels of assistance, but your primary focus will always be on the children.

About Our Childcare Family

Mom and Dad met in Seattle, and they enjoy an active lifestyle when they arent at work or playing with their kids. They love international food and encourage their kids to eat adult foods, such as curries, soba noodles, and whatever their heart desires that is healthy. In addition, the parents encourage the kids to engage in creative activities and daily reading that will enhance their elementary school education. Our clients work in the healthcare industry, and they are tremendously busy.

There are two kids, a 1yog and a 3yob. The 1yo loves following the brother around, mimicking play, and playing with Barbies. The 3yob has begun kicking the ball back and forth, playing with Legos, and having playdates. Together, they play so nicely while drawing with chalk on the driveway or swimming in the pool at the elementary school. Both kids attend ballet lessons at a nearby dance school. The children love eating eggs and chicken tenders.

Requirements

Nanny Job Requirements:

• You have at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  

• Your car runs reliably, and your motor vehicle record (MVR) indicates you are a safe driver.
  

• You have professional childcare experience working in a daycare, preschool, elementary school, or as a year-round nanny.
  

Full-Time Job Preferences:

• You may have attended college, majoring in early childhood education (ECE) or Childcare Development Associates (CDA).
  

• You appreciate the importance of creating a vocabulary-driven environment.
  

• You might develop educational games and crafts that promote appropriate development.
  

• Your management and communication skills are impressive.
  

• You want to utilize your toddler skills to potty train the baby as they grow up.
  

Benefits

Schedule Type: Full-Time, Long-Term: 8:15 - 4:15 pm

Job Location: Edina, MN USA

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 an hour

Benefits: full, four weeks of paid vacation
