Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator

Job Summary:
As a MySQL Database Administrator at SPG you will be responsible for installing upgrading and maintaining MySQL databases on both Linux and Windows platforms. In addition you will manage MySQL architecture replication backup & restore performance and handle HA servers like clusters. Troubleshooting MySQL issues and database automation will also be part of your role. Flexibility for 24x7 shifts is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and upgrade MySQL databases on Linux and Windows
• Manage MySQL architecture replication and backup & restore
• Handle performance management and HA servers like clusters
• Troubleshoot MySQL issues
• Automate database tasks

Secondary Skills:
Team player with the flexibility to work 24x7 shifts

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
3 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator
Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments
Strong understanding of MySQL architecture replication backup and restore
Experience with HA servers and performance management
Database automation skills
