Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging music lessons that align with the national curriculum and school policies
• Assess students musical abilities and progress providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
• Organize and lead musicrelated extracurricular activities and performances
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes students confidence and enjoyment of music
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance achievements and assessments
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding students progress and development

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Bachelors degree in Music Education or related field
• Proven experience as a Music teacher in a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent musical skills and proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
• Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative teaching methods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying uptodate with current educational practices
