Mold Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:

Mold repair and maintenance: tig welding machining spotting finishing/polishing.

Inspect clean and grease molds after production runs.

Troubleshoot mod issues including heaters and nozzle tip issues.

Disassemble molds and make repairs for electrical water or hydraulic issues.

Make recommendations for repairs and improvements for mold issues.

Assist in production as necessary and repair molds at machines when needed.

Program setup and operate radial drills milling machines lathe and surface grinders.

Use precision measuring instruments; Vernier calipers micrometers bore/depth gauges.

Follow work processes/setup spreadsheet in accordance with requirements/deadlines and maintain logs and other documentation as required by

quality protocol.

Ensure a clean and safe work area.

Follow all Keter safety policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday Friday 7am3:30pm as needed on weekends/after hours (on call/OT)

Requirements :

Job Requirements:

Must be mechanically inclined.

Strong acute attention to detail.

Will be required to complete online training with strong understanding of mold components and their functions.

Ability to calmly communicate with other associates in a fastpaced environment.

Capable of frequent climbing and lifting

Basic knowledge of surface grinder drill press manual mill and lathe

Ability to utilize measuring equipment such as micrometers dial calipers height gauge gauge pins and dial indicator.

Basic computer reading writing and arithmetic skills required.

35 years manufacturing experience

Prior mold maintenance experience a plus.

Must have good attendance and policy record. (less than 2 points)

Must have good work ethic & time management skills.

Must be able to work as a team.
