Job Title: Mobile Java Developer

Location: Harrisburg PA (Remote with possibility of transitioning to hybrid or onsite)

Duration: 12 months (with option for extension)

Note: candidate must CURRENTLY reside within 1 hr distance from Harrisburg PA. No relocation is Allowed.

Overview: Our client is seeking a talented Mobile Java Developer to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely initially with potential future options for hybrid or onsite work in Harrisburg PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in objectoriented development J2EE applications and web service design & development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with enterprise development teams to design develop and maintain J2EE applications.
• Design and implement web services using SOAP/XML and REST/JSON protocols.
• Utilize JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 Angular and React for frontend development.
• Deploy and manage Docker containers in a Cloud environment.
• Implement DevOps practices particularly with Azure DevOps.
• Develop secured web services and web services with attachments.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in:

• Objectoriented development.
• Working with enterprise development teams.
• J2EE applications development.
• Relational database development.

3 years of experience in:

• Web service design & development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON).
• JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 Angular React.
• Cloud development specifically Docker container deployment and management.
• DevOps products particularly Azure DevOps.

1 years of experience in:

• Various authentication protocols.

Note: Candidate must be local to the Harrisburg area (within 1 hour) and able to work EST business hours. Work equipment must be picked up inperson in Harrisburg PA.
