Job Description
- Main responsiblility will be support severity 13 issues that require adhoc data extraction; reconcile and investigate data gaps; evaluate data flows; test data analytics intiatives and data flow pipelines; and monitor and execute job schedules/runs
- Supports QA in conducting UAT tests and impact assessment for data at the backend whenever a new technology or release is made by IT Service Delivery
- Perform data investigation and reconciliation across different systems platforms and databases
- Apply performance tuning and script optimization to reduce computational load and improve run time
- Collaborates with data engineers data scientists and data analysts in mapping out dependencies and dataflows
- Perform data investigation and reconciliation across different systems platforms and databases
- Document and update data dictionary ER diagrams and database management tools as needed
- Notifies stakeholders in case there are issues encountered for data anlaytics solutions already in production
- Investigates the rootcause of data operation issues and provide recommendations on how to resolve and mitigate
- Supports data quality cleanup activities and provide reports to improve the DQI index across different data domains
Qualifications
- More than 3 years experience in data operations database management testing quality and/or data governance
- Expertise in Database Management (SQL Hadoop Hive)
- Experienced in documentation and data quality tools
- Preferred languages: SQL(Must) Python R Bash/Shell scripting
- Knowledgeable on Business Intelligence Tools (Qlik PowerBI Tableau)
- Stakeholder and project management
- Analytical structure organized and proactive
