Job Description

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team of educators.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Teach exceptional children who have mild to moderate disabilities.
  
• Instruct students at the middle school level.
  
• Modify traditional education curriculum to meet childs needs.
  
• Assist children with specific learning disabilities speech or language impairments emotional disturbance multiple disabilities hearing impairments orthopedic impairments visual impairments autism combined deafness and blindness traumatic brain injury.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
  
• Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
  
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education
  
• Have or be eligible to apply for an Illinois PEL with special education endorsement
  
• Must be able to work up to 32.5 hours per week full term
