Middle QA Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web testing REST API testing and database testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional regression usability and GUI testing of web applications.
• Review and analyze requirements to ensure thorough understanding and test coverage.
• Perform testing of REST APIs and conduct database testing using SQL/Mongo DB.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and address issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes including sprint planning daily standups and sprint retrospectives.
• Utilize bug tracking tools such as JIRA to report and track issues.
• Conduct mobile testing and ensure compatibility across various devices.
• Use tools like Postman/Fiddler for API testing and analysis.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders both orally and in writing.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2 years of practical experience in web testing.
• Proficiency in REST API testing and SQL/Mongo DB.
• Experience in functional regression usability and GUI testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of web application and browser functioning principles.
• Experience with mobile testing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Upper Intermediate spoken and written English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Scrum and delivering working tested software in each iteration.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
• Basic knowledge of a programming language (HTML CSS).
• Understanding of SDLC.
• ISTQB Software Testing Certification.
• Background related to Sports Book Sports Betting applications Player and Transactions Management platforms or ERP applications.
