Mid-Level Cloud Engineer- US Census

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midlevel Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team to serve our federal customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud technologies with a focus on EKS Terraform Morpheus and Identity Access Management (IAM). The candidate should also possess expertise in installing and configuring Python R software on AWS and have a solid understanding of AWS storage solutions such as S3 Redshift and PostgreSQL. Additionally proficiency in AWS CLI Lambda and Glue is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with the Cloud Services and Virtualization Department (CSVD) to deploy and manage EC2 instances in the AWS cloud.

2. Install and configure application software required for web scraping environments.

3. Utilize AWS EKS for container orchestration demonstrating 2 to 3 years of handson experience.

4. Leverage Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment and management processes.

5. Utilize Morpheus for efficient cloud management and optimization.

6. Manage Identity Access Management (IAM) for secure and compliant access to AWS resources.

7. Install and configure Python R software on AWS cloud platforms.

8. Demonstrate expertise in AWS storage solutions including S3 Redshift and PostgreSQL.

9. Work with AWS technologies such as AWS CLI Lambda and Glue to develop and maintain cloudbased applications.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

2. 3 years of handson experience with AWS EKS.

3. 3 years of experience with Terraform.

4. 3 years of experience with Morpheus.

5. 3 years of experience with Identity Access Management (IAM).

6. 3 years of experience installing and configuring Python R software on AWS.

7. 3 years of experience with AWS storage solutions (S3 Redshift PostgreSQL).

8. 3 years of experience with AWS technologies (AWS CLI Lambda Glue).

9. 3 years of experience in Python development and web scraping.

Salary Range: $115K to $125K

Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
