Job Title: MEP Project Engineer

Location: Coimbatore India

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) Project Engineer to manage and oversee the MEP design work for a variety of projects including residential institutional healthcare hospitality and heritage projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex MEP systems and be deeply committed to sustainable building practices.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the MEP design process for various projects ensuring all mechanical electrical and plumbing systems integrate well with the architectural intent.
  • Manage the coordination between design and site operations ensuring seamless execution of MEP strategies onsite.
  • Engage in detailed planning and execution of HVAC electrical plumbing and fire fighting systems.
  • Actively participate in meetings with architects contractors and other stakeholders to discuss and resolve MEP design issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety standards.
  • Drive the implementation of sustainable practices and green building technologies within the MEP sphere.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and other technical staff.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and design documents to upper management and clients.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of MEP related issues during construction.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Electrical or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in MEP management preferably in an architecture or construction firm.
  • Strong understanding of architectural concepts and integration with MEP systems.
