Medior DevOps Engineer

Our partner - in the Health Care industry - is looking for a Medior DevOps Engineer to contribute to their ongoing strategic product development - which is about modernizing their legacy platform for medical image processing application with Kubernetes and Cloud technology.

You need to deliver strategy-related tasks, handle incoming requests for deployment, delivery & monitoring capabilities, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for their complex platform that serve our customers (developers).

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and implement DevOps frameworks and automation to be used across an extensive and diverse range of products
  
• Help teams in case of problems with the tools that support Infrastructure, CI/CD and CT
  
• Monitor environments and react quickly and precisely in case of issue
  
• Provide self-service solution and automation of common infrastructure elements
  
• Support developer teams with deployment of our product
  
• Reviewing, classifying and evaluating all risks, defects which is related to DevOps
  
• Ensuring documentation integrity and quality for the program and DevOps area
  
• Interact with other development teams in a global context
  
• Share knowledge and best practices within team, educating junior colleagues
  
• Influences through others; builds direct and behind the scenes support for changes
  
• Proactively identifies, facilitates and eliminates obstacles or barriers
  

Requirements

Must Have

• Working proficiency level in English (verbal and written)
  
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or in Science/Technology/Engineering/Math
  
• Strong experience with DevOps activity: 3 years of relevant work experience
  
• Using related tools: Git/GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, vSphere or their equivalents
  
• Good knowledge of Linux / Windows administration
  
• Good knowledge of VCS and artifact repositories (e.g. Git, GitHub, Nexus)
  
• Demonstrated experience in containerization (Docker) and virtualization (e.g. KVM, ESXi, Hyper-V)
  
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, toolsets and supporting infrastructure
  
• Experience in automation, different scripting languages and configuration formats like Python, Bash, JSON, YAML or their equivalents
  

Nice To Have

• Cloud experience is a plus (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
