Overview:
The position of Medical Oncologist DM is a crucial role in our healthcare organization focused on providing specialized care and treatment for cancer patients. As a Medical Oncologist you will play a vital part in the diagnosis treatment and management of various types of cancer working closely with a multidisciplinary team to offer comprehensive care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and treatment for individuals with cancer including chemotherapy hormonal therapy targeted therapy and immunotherapy
- Lead and participate in clinical trials to advance cancer treatment and research
- Coordinate with other specialists such as surgeons and radiation oncologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on cancer prognosis treatment options and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure highquality and holistic care for cancer patients
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of oncologyrelated protocols and procedures
- Participate in tumor boards case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the field of oncology
- Conduct research publish articles and present at medical conferences
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Medical Oncology
- Fellowship training in Medical Oncology
- Active state medical license
- Proven experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of cancer
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care
- Publication record in peerreviewed journals is desirable
