Medical Laboratory Tech

Duties:

Perform laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of a senior laboratory technician or scientist
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results
Prepare and analyze samples using techniques such as ELISA PCR DNA isolation and aseptic technique
Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Record and manage data in a timely and organized manner
Assist in the development and optimization of laboratory protocols and procedures
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation of the laboratory

Experience:

Previous experience working in a clinical or research laboratory setting is preferred
Proficiency in performing ELISA PCR DNA isolation and other relevant laboratory techniques
Strong data management and analysis skills to accurately record and interpret experimental results
Knowledge of anatomy and assay principles to understand the context of the experiments being conducted
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP)
Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
