Job Title: Emergency Services Dispatcher

As an Emergency Services Dispatcher youll play a critical role in our 24/7 Medical Emergency Dispatch and Communications Center. Responsibilities:
Provide emergency communication reception and dispatching services determining the nature of emergencies and dispatching appropriate response teams.
Maintain constant liaison with emergency scenes fire officials police and other units until the incident is officially terminated.
Prioritize multiple emergency and nonemergency calls determining appropriate response levels based on caller needs.
Monitor various emergency radios including police fire and mutual aid frequencies.
Conduct followup inquiries and coordinate responses with military and civilian agencies.
Conduct daily pager tests and coordinate equipment repairs or replacements as needed.
Maintain accurate activity logs and reports of daily events and emergencies.
Operate and maintain telecommunications equipment including phones radios and automated data processing devices.
Receive relay and transfer phone calls document messages and operate hospital code alarm systems.
Prepare incident reports and provide statistical data to supervisors.
Requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in fastpaced environments.
Proficiency in operating telecommunications equipment and computer systems.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 operation with multiple shift options.
Prior experience in emergency dispatching or a related field is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Overall Requirements 5-10 years' experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management US Citizen Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge Superb written and verbal communication skills Ability to keep company confidences Required Work Authorization Must be a US Citizen Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
