(Medical Devices) Senior Director of Product Security

• This position resides in the Neuromodulation business unit but has responsibility for the product security (including mobile and desktop apps, firmware, Bluetooth and cyber security) strategy and execution for all divisions.
  
• Provide vision and leadership in the development and execution of a product security strategy and program in alignment with the business strategy
  
• Collaborate cross functionally to establish and maintain product security policies and procedures and integrate them into appropriate quality management systems
  
• Develop, maintain and support various shared service capabilities to be leveraged by business units such as: security testing, vulnerability management, training, coordinated vulnerability disclosure, incident response and customer communications
  
• Deliver vision and leadership in the development of ongoing product security communications, training and awareness program
  
• Support product teams to develop and maintain security certifications such as SOC2, ISO27001
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Information Security, Risk or IT Management, Computer Science, or related field
  
• 10 years of product security experience in the medical device field, preferably in active implantable devices
  
• Expert knowledge of product security and the collaboration between the product security function and key internal (e.g., quality, legal) and external stakeholders (e.g., regulators, customers)
  
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CPP or CFE are preferred
  
• Familiarity with FDA and other global security regulations and guidelines
  
• Knowledge of national and international regulatory and compliance frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, EU DPD, HIPAA/HITECH
  
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational intelligence, strategic agility, ability to deal with ambiguity and to work effectively with a variety of roles and levels in a Business Unit organization structure
