Vernon Catonsville and Dundalk is seeking a skilled Medical Admin Associate. About the Role:
The Medical Admin Associate will play a pivotal role in shaping patients experiences contributing to their journey toward optimal health and mobility. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where your efforts directly impact patient care and recovery.
Key Performance Objectives (KPOs):
Patient Scheduling and Communication Management
Within the first 90 days effectively manage inbound and outbound scheduling of patients to ensure a seamless appointment experience.
Develop and implement a robust reminder system that reduces noshow rates within six months.
Consistently maintain a professional and empathetic tone in all communications reflecting the commitment to excellent service.
PreVisit Registration and Screening
Within the first 30 days establish a thorough understanding of patient intake procedures including the collection of demographics insurance information and conducting screening questions.
Aim to increase the efficiency of the previsit registration process within the first year reducing patient wait times and enhancing overall satisfaction.
Insurance Verification and Authorization
Master the insurance verification process using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system within the first 30 days.
Achieve a high accuracy rate in insurance verification reducing errors and ensuring a smooth billing process.
In cases of nonmatching insurance effectively communicate alternative options to clients maintaining a positive and solutionoriented approach
Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical administration particularly in scheduling and insurance verification.
Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and communication platforms like Google Voice and GMail.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a track record of effective client interactions.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse clientele maintaining a respectful and understanding demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of phone and email etiquette.
