Mechnical Static Design Engineer

Understanding the technical requirement of a project and preparing the project specification document.
o Sizing of static equipment considering the layout and project requirements.
o Design and Detail Engineering of Steel Tanks & Vessels according to ASME SEC VIII Roarks Formula API 650 API
620 AWWA D100 UL142 UL58 Shell DEP etc)
o ASME SEC IX
o Preparing and reviewing all tank related design documents including lifting of equipment.
o Attend client meetings and responding to queries.
o Guiding Designers in static equipment fabrication drawing preparation.
o Review of static equipment fabrication drawings MTO.
o Preparing and reviewing of Purchase requisition for plates and other items.
o Coordinate work with other disciplines etc.
o Implement company standard practices into design.
o Responsible to follow and deploy QMS procedures ASME U stamp procedures and OSHAS.
o Responsible to coordinate with the ASME authorized inspector.
o Must be a selfstarter ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
o Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate well within the team as well as with other discipline
personnel.
o Organize the department section or workplace so that any operation or work carried out is to a satisfactory
standard of safety with minimum risk to persons materials and equipment.
o Implementation of Health and Safety management system.
o Participates to HIARA and for new activities/task
o Takes part in all accident / incident investigation.
o Allocate enough time for Toolbox meetings and HSE trainings.
o Cooperate in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing methods to prevent reoccurrence.
o Report all the unsafe conditions near misses Incidents etc. immediately to HSE department and ensure
adequate control measures are taken to rectify the issues.
