Tasks

Your main focus will be on Advanced Die Attach technologies and customer roadmaps. This includes the following:

• You create conceptual mechanical designs for mechatronic systems
• You will design the interaction between mechanics electronics control technology and software
• You model and optimise modules with a focus on functional and dynamic behaviour (FEM)
• You work in multidisciplinary project teams to support and develop mechatronic modules and systems with a focus on mechanical architecture dynamics and vibration damping
• To ensure quality you plan and interpret functional tests on modules and machines
• You take care of documentation and reporting to keep everyone involved informed
• As you will be working on future technologies you will regularly liaise with system architects and process specialists to define new goals
• You will also expand the project teams at times as a consultant and coach
• You will also work with system architects process and image processing specialists on metrological tasks
• You will regularly liaise with product marketing to gain the best possible understanding of customer requirements

Requirements

• The skills you learnt in your Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics are an asset to our customers. Knowledge from comparable degree programmes is also ideal.
• Instead of a suitable degree programme you can also impress with many years of professional experience.
• As their business language is English business fluent English skills are required.
• Previous experience with the FEM method in the mechanical field as well as knowledge in the areas of sensor technology and electronics are a big plus for you but not a musthave.
