Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to work with design of next generation robot controller to our client in Vsters!

Tasks may include:

Design and create purchase material for electrical and mechanical components such as sheet metal cabling connectors circuit breakers etc. for our new controller platform.

Secure field quality and continuous improvement of both new and existing mechanical and electrical design.

Create production Bill of Materials as well as production assembly drawings

Secure close collaboration with other R&D teams external design partners module owners test engineers production purchasing etc. both in Sweden and China.

Other assignments such as process improvement support to global product improvement etc.

Your background

Curious engineer with a true interest of working with robots and controller systems. Preferably M.Sc. in Mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.

Advantageous is knowledge within sheet metal design (Solid Works or similar) and/or knowledge within electrical design (ePlan or similar).

You have analytical mind and ability to make sound decisions regarding technical solutions. You also like to work handson with prototypes and testing.

You are positive prestigeless selfdriven and resultoriented with excellent collaboration skills.

Fluency in English is mandatory Swedish is considered an advantage.

This is a fixed term contract and you will be employed/contracted by Minnovation.

Preferred start date 5th of February and will run until end of December 2024.
