Mechanical Project Engineer manufacturing

Our client is an international manufacturer of advanced polymer materials. As a result of their growth they need a Mechanical Project Engineer for their HQ near Providence RI who will

• participate and manage project teams to design purchase and install equipment.

• design new processes for capital projects and optimize existing ones

• assist plants in troubleshooting and problem solving when called upon.

REQUIREMENTS

• Mechanical Engineering degree
• 5 years on the plant floor experience focused on Project Management/Plant Engineering
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in Solidworks and Project Software.
• Ability to evaluate production requirements and apply appropriate solutions.
• Experience automating processes and completing automation projects
• Project experience on depalletizing projects or dust containment projects ideal
• Work experience in a plastics compounding environment ideal
