Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing automation tools

In this exciting role you will design and develop robotic products tools and components. You will work independently with minimal supervision focusing on the origination of design. Responsibilities include advanced mechanical calculations project management testing and technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced mechanical calculations to ensure design feasibility.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding technical issues and attend project meetings.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and lead engineering teams manage projects and budgets.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and contribute to process improvement.
• Facilitate design reviews with customers suppliers and internal departments.
• Analyze test data to meet functional and performance specifications.
• Provide technical support to various stakeholders and apply to industry standards.
• Generate specifications and Bills of Material (BOM) and create and present engineering change documentation.
• Work collaboratively across disciplines to solve problems.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years experience in robotic design or related experience.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or other related degree
• Must have experience with SolidWorks AutoCAD 2D modeling.
• Occasional travel required.
