Brief job description:

Job Summary

As a mechanical design engineer fresher in Genrobotics you will be involved in designing the
functional product which meets all technical requirements of the product which were set in
the target setting event of the new product development process as well as to meet aesthetic
& craftsmanship requirements provided by product designers. Genrobotics is seeking a
Mechanical design engineer to help enable autonomous robotics applications and enhance
humanRobot interactions.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modelling using any software (Solid works recommended).
• Need to perform static structural analysis and optimisation of the product using any
  software s.
• Need to involve in rigid body dynamic analysis of specialpurpose robots and
  optimisation of product in all aspects using any software s.
  
• Responsible to study failure modes and mitigating them using DFMEA mitigating
  technical risks using Risk Management.
  
• Product designing considering DFA and DFM.
  
• Responsible to design the system for safety reliability usability modularity &
  tolerance variations.
  
• Preparation of BOM of the product.
  
• Need to use GD&T techniques for dimensioning and tolerancing.
  
• Selection of materials and specifications of components based on theoretical
  verifications.
  
• Need to develop testing procedures and criteria s for verification of the design.
  
• Responsible to coordinate with all departments like Quality Assembly Safety
  Usability Reliability Test Lab maintenance team process planners production team to launch the working product successfully in the market on time on cost & on
  quality.
  
• Need to involve in the selection of different types of mechanical components like
  bearings linear guide ways etc based on engineering calculations.

Number of requirements : 01 or 02 Nos.

Basic qualification : BTech/MTech mechanical engineering or equivalent

Skill sets required :
Static and Dynamic Analysis.
Experience in GD&T.
Experience in doing DFMEA.
Experience in different manufacturing processes.
Sheet metal design.
Structural design.
