Overview

As a Md/DNB/dmrd Radiologist consultant you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment planning for patients through the interpretation of medical imaging such as MRI CT scans and Xrays. Your expertise will contribute to the overall healthcare delivery and patient care within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret medical imaging procedures including MRI CT scans and Xrays.
  • Provide accurate and timely radiology reports and communicate findings to referring physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to determine the best course of action for patient treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the radiology department.
  • Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging technology and radiology practices.
  • Supervise and train radiologic technologists and other support staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of radiology protocols and procedures.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care and communication.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings conferences and research projects.

Required qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiology.
  • DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiodiagnosis) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Board certification in Radiology from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Radiologist in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in interpreting various medical imaging modalities including MRI CT scans and Xrays.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy pathology and radiological positioning techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of Radiology.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and highpressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
