Responsibilities

• Deliver highquality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans ensuring the curriculum is effectively covered.
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students identifying areas for improvement and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and fosters a love for Maths.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance effectively communicating with parents and guardians.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification and QTS status.
• Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary education setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Maths curriculum including the ability to effectively differentiate instruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students colleagues and parents.
• An enthusiastic and passionate approach to teaching inspiring a love and appreciation for Maths.
• The ability to effectively manage a classroom maintaining discipline and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
