Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics to students ranging from primary to secondary education levels.
• Plan prepare and assess curriculum and coursework in accordance with the schools standards and guidelines.
• Establish clear objectives for lessons and communicate them to students.
• Engage with students individually and in group settings providing feedback and support to foster their academic growth.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues parents and other stakeholders to ensure students progress is monitored and supported.
• Stay uptodate with the latest teaching methodologies pedagogies and curriculum changes in the field of Mathematics education.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at primary or secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students parents and colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Passion for education and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
