Welcome to marko where we work to make secondhand the first choice! With our online marketplace were on a mission to make secondhand buying and selling easy safe and inspiring. Across fashion home and electronics were building a community to revolutionize how secondhand is being perceived. Our online marketplace connects users mainly Gen Z across Switzerland for the purchase and sale of fashion home and electronics items.

If youve got a flair for creativity user engagement and a strong desire to contribute to a more ecoconscious world then the role of Marketing Intern is calling out for you!

Tasks

What youll do:

• Copywriting: Craft our message through website content blog posts and newsletters. Your words will resonate with our audience making sustainable shopping an inviting and engaging experience. Take charge of content topics drafting and distributing your content. Bonus points if youre familiar with SEO optimization.
• Visual Assets: Support our social media strategy by creating visual assets including posts for our social media channels and online marketing ads. We use Figma as our designing tool across the company and will be happy to teach you how to use it (if youre not a pro yet).
• IRL Events: We want to break the online barrier by participating in flea markets and hosting events for our community. Youll support the organization set up and hosting of those events while ensuring we make the best out of those opportunities.
• AdHoc Support: Weve got a zillion things wed like to do and youll be here in helping us ticking off some things from our list. This could include managing the social media community or creating GoogleAds.

Requirements

What youll need:

• German & English: Our team is international so English is required for you to be able to collaborate with other colleagues. And our users are mainly from the German part of Switzerland so being (Swiss)German native is a must.
• Creativity: You have a natural talent in creating and making your ideas come true. You not only come up with suggestions but also know how to conceptualize and to present your ideas to others.
• Ecommerce enthusiasm: You have a passion for ecommerce and its potential to drive sustainable consumer behavior. Your interest for the secondhand industry adds value to our users experience..
