Overview:

The Market Research Team Lead plays a crucial role in leading and managing a team of market research professionals to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the organization. This role is essential for driving informed business decisions understanding market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and development. The Market Research Team Lead will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure that research initiatives meet the companys objectives and contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of market researchers to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Design implement and manage market research projects including gathering data analyzing information and interpreting findings
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights for strategic decisionmaking
  • Develop and present comprehensive reports and presentations based on research findings
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable research plans
  • Manage the budget and resources for market research projects
  • Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze and interpret data
  • Evaluate research methodologies and recommend improvements to enhance the quality and effectiveness of research initiatives
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in market research
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ethical standards in research activities
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and business plans based on research insights
  • Oversee the execution of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Coordinate with external research agencies and vendors when necessary
  • Provide leadership in driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the market research team
  • Effectively communicate research findings to different levels of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Statistics Economics or related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Proven experience (5 years) in market research or related analytical roles
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical research practices
  • Experience in working with diverse data sources and analyzing complex data sets
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business impact
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and align research initiatives accordingly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
