Responsibilities
Support MDO in recruiting training and upskilling the new Market Data operations team
Support MDO in the transition of all operational tasks from existing resources to the new Market Data operations team
Build out and maintain an operational calendar outlining keys deliverables and ensuring a timely delivery based on expected SLAs
Review operational due diligence and metrics reports regularly to understand expected workloads or aging items then plan accordingly
Host weekly meetings with MDO to provide update on all deliverables and address any issues that may arise
Establish maker/checker process to review and approve all information that impacts external systems and parties
Establish standard communication templates for recurrent interactions with internal stakeholders and our vendors
Work to build personal development plans for each operations analyst and partner with MDO to help get them the education and training needed to achieve their goals
Develop and plan team building events for the operations team locally and virtually with MDO
Team Lead:
Establish and execute the processes and procedures
Establish and manage the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Monitor and evaluate all processes and implement improvement to ensure clients receive appropriate and highquality services as committed
Perform daily and monthly auditing of work processes
Monitor and assist team members in the daily operation aspects of the project including reviewing the status and performance against targets performing root cause analysis of variances and making improvements to meet the targets
Coach guide and train team members by providing excellent service
Provide assistance to team members in accordance with established practices and procedures
Provide reports as agreed with Client
Assist in hiring selection and training of new team members update ledgers data and reports
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree in Financial
Management Economics Accounting or other related business course
The candidate must have a basic understanding of Accounting & Financial
Markets. Background in Information Technology is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of financial products including global equities futures swaps options FX OTC derivatives and fixed income.
Strong background in accounting systems cost management AP and FP&A
7 years related experience experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be an advantage
3 years supervisory experience over a professional accounting team
Through your prior work experience you have demonstrated the ability to manage people and deliver tangible results
You are passionate about the people you manage and will work diligently to help them achieve their personal development goals
You are detailoriented have strong relationshipbuilding skills and can articulate messages to a variety of audiences
You are transparent and comfortable communicating issues openly and directly
Experience working with an onshore management team is preferable
Asset management industry knowledge a plus
CPA certification preferred
