We are currently seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician to join our team in Gothenburg!

Yourresponsibilities

As a Marine Service Technician you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Consilium Safetys alarm systems and equipment function optimally worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:

Advanced Service and Commissioning
You will be responsible for planning and executing advanced service and commissioning of our equipment with a special focus on Consiliums fire and gas alarms. This work takes place in shipyards and vessels both domestically and internationally. You will efficiently carry out service inspections and commissioning leveraging your technical expertise while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.

Documentation
Meticulously document performed tasks in our CRM system (LIME) to support our continuous improvement efforts both technically and from a sales perspective.

Customer Support
Assist our global customers by providing technical support via phone and email contributing to maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

TrainingConduct training sessions on Consiliums alarm systems for our internal team service representatives and crews.

Your work will be based at our headquarters in Gothenburg with approximately 120 travel days per year to support our global clientele.

Who Are We Looking For

• We believe you are a dependable and adaptable person who:
• Holds a degree in marine engineering mechanical engineering electronics engineering or equivalent experience.
• Possesses work experience within the marine industry.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of international marine regulations such as SOLAS particularly regarding configuration service and applicable regulations for fire and gas alarms.
• Is adept at independently planning and executing repairs and adaptations of alarm systems.
• Is proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Holds a valid drivers license.
