Job Description

Ride Prototype Technicians work within a Ride Development Engineering responsible for construction of wood vehicle mockups seat bucks and guest restraint development from concept to creative buy offs. They support Engineering in every

aspect of mechanical ride mockup and testing request up to first article production vehicle buy off. Have ability to collaborate within diverse teams of technical and creative

members and be comfortable in environments where scope and requirements change

frequently.

Provide interpretation and manipulation of SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawings with

ability to follow direction from conceptional drawings and white board sketches.

Perform woodworking operations using table chop panel saw and routers for

construction of ride vehicle mockups and seat bucks.

You Will:

Interact with all levels from Staff to Executive level as well as occasional

interaction with Engineering and Creative departments.

Basic Qualifications Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working in an environment with constant project/design changes

and ability to jump from one project to another prior to completion of assigned

tasks.

Highly dependable strong work ethic willingness to learn new things and

continually improve skills.

Mechanical knowledge.

Ability to work directly with engineering and creative staff to determine proper

fabrication methods.

Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidate will have Previous Disney or entertainment experience with

knowledge of industry.

Required Education AA degree or equivalent work experience

Additional Information Resource will be onsite 5 days per week. There is a strong possibility that we may have approval to hire 2 workers.

Interviews will be in person. (1 round of interviews expected)

Must haves:

1)Know how to navigate 3d Cad systems and take dimensions will not need to be a Cad Designer

2)Needs someone with carpentry experience

3)Mechanical ability to support projects

4) Knowledge of Machines: Table saw panel saw chop saw
