Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development of a sales strategy tailored to the unique needs and opportunities within the machining and metal fabrication sectors.
  • Actively seek out and secure new client relationships while strategically navigating the industry landscape to identify untapped markets.
  • Engage in direct outreach such as cold calling emailing and networking at industry events to generate leads and build a robust sales funnel.
  • Utilize an indepth understanding of Delaware Metals offerings to craft compelling value propositions that resonate with prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader promotional efforts optimizing brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to management informing datadriven adjustments to sales tactics and company direction.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence while ensuring sales objectives align with the broader goals and values of Delaware Metals.

Qualifications:

  • A solid foundation of experience in sales specifically within the machining or metal fabrication industry.
  • A portfolio of established contacts and a history of successful business development within the sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • A strong background in consultative sales techniques with a knack for understanding and resolving customer pain points.
  • Competency in utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) systems to organize and document sales activities efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of crafting winwin agreements and fostering longterm client relationships.
  • Adept in applying modern sales methodologies and leveraging technology to streamline the sales process and improve customer engagement.
  • Capacity to work flexibly across different time zones accommodating global client interactions as needed.
  • Selfdirected with a capacity to produce results in a remote work environment reflecting discipline and timemanagement skills.
  • An impressive track record of surpassing sales quotas and contributing substantially to business growth.
