Position: Manufacturing / Quality Engineer
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7AM - 3PM
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $65 - 80K (Negotiable) | Industry: Manufacturing
Our client is seeking a Hybrid between Manufacturing & Quality Engineering in Manufacturing. Candidates could be stronger in either QE / Manufacturing, but must be willing to learn new concepts.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to write and update process documentation and specifications
- Ability to support customer contract review, customer quality audits and supplier quality activities
- Ability to support engineering activity not limited to tooling and process design based on drawing, CAD and Solid works models
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- Basic Knowledge of Hermetic sealing and fabrication processes such as etching and punching
- Basic Knowledge of EDM and CNC machining
- Able to interpret blueprints and customer drawings
- Able to perform root cause analysis
- Able to use microscopes and other inspection and measurement devices including CMM
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize a computer and various software.
- Ability to adhere to all ISO, GIDEP, and Government/Defense standards such as ITAR, DFAR and EAR
Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Vision and depth perception suitable for use of inspection microscopes
