About Client

The global industrial ecosystem is undergoing major changes. Additive manufacturing is a critical technique for shortening supply chains and producing superior goods in the medical cosmetic textile and packaging sectors among other fields.
Our client is a fast growing venturebacked MIT spinoff firm dedicated to developing the next generation of additive manufacturing technologies. We create and manufacture unique textile materials and products ranging from medical gadgets to luxury apparel. As our business grows and expands we are searching for manufacturing assistants to join our production team.

Job Description

Producing additive produced products and doing additional duties as necessary in the production environment(s). Set up operate and carry out preventative maintenance on manufacturing and assembly equipment used in additive manufacturing production processes in a controlled environment. Follows production procedures quality and environmental requirements and other business SOPs to verify product specifications are satisfied. Fill out manufacturing work orders and quality records to ensure correct documentation in the design history record.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Verify and input production parameters as per the SOP and Batch Records.
  • Independently carry out production or manufacturingsupport processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Apply 5S principles proactively by keeping the workplace clean and safe taking the required steps to reduce safety concerns and communicating any observed dangerous actions to others.
  • Operate all manufacturing line equipment including printing washing curing and inspection.
  • Adhere to the manufacturing schedule and finish work orders on time.
  • Document SOPs logbooks and other GMP documents accurately and completely.
  • Work solo or as part of an additive manufacturing team.
  • Maintain a working understanding of fundamental cGMP and ISO requirements to guarantee compliance with rules and laws.
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Showcase a constructive collaborative attitude in the daytoday implementation of operations.
  • Make ideas and follow up on process improvements for safety compliance cost yield and productivity.
  • Adhere to the Safety Code of Conduct and EHS policies and take any necessary EHS training.
  • Attend department and other planned meetings.
  • Practice effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Learn new skills procedures and processes as allocated by management and continue to expand your competence.
  • Responsible for audit preparation and participation.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal rules and standards including FDA EPA and OSHA.
  • Qualifications
  • Ability to handle fragile materials and perform precise manual alignments.
  • Prior manufacturing experience or similar industry expertise is necessary.
  • proficiency with digital systems
  • Experience working in a controlled environment with GMP and ISO standards.
  • Capability to correctly and comprehensively document work on printed materials and digital databases.
  • High school diploma/GED with 23 years of manufacturing experience or associate degree with < 1 year of experience in manufacturing.
  • Fluent in English.
