Manufacturing Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Standardize processes for future training reference and execution of customer orders.
• Handson interaction with shop floor personnel and equipment.
• Take pictures of the process and document in detail for future reference
• Creation of detailed work instructions to factory floor operations
• Understanding the product drawings specs and manufacturing process
• Professionally interface with Manufacturing Engineers and internal/external customers

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• 34 years of proven experience in technical writing to clearly explain mechanical concepts.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or ten or more years of relevant work experience.
• Established record of working well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Proven ability to interface with hourly workforce to troubleshoot current methods as well as write and implement new processes.
• Fluency in CAD package usage (preferably NX or AutoCAD)
• Experience in power generation or aerospace industry
