Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of current labor production processes material handling and spatial utilization to identify opportunities for enhancing quality and operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement standards for labor and material usage as well as cost analysis systems to maximize resource efficiency.
  • Compile and synthesize data into comprehensive reports outlining product and process performance trends and areas for improvement.
  • Innovate manufacturing methodologies for upcoming products through an indepth understanding of product specifications collaborating with vendors and iterative design and testing of manufacturing approaches.
  • Evaluate product designs against manufacturing criteria to set benchmarks and goals for product quality and dependability.
  • Facilitate the development and procurement of specialized tooling and materials necessary for manufacturing processes.
  • Manage validation tests to ensure product and system designs meet specified requirements.
  • Create refine and maintain programmable logic controller (PLC) programs.
  • Regularly review and enhance process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) and process control strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a comparable level of professional experience.
  • A professional background spanning 5 to 7 years ideally within the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) tools such as CATIA NX or equivalent.
  • Direct experience in conducting motion study analysis including but not limited to MethodsTime Measurement (MTM).
  • Skill in programming and handling PLC hardware and software.
  • Independent initiative and the capability to effectively selfmanage with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional skills in planning organization and time management.
  • Proven competence in project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A solid grasp of Lean Manufacturing principles and a track record of applying these to realworld scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems analytically with a proactive handson approach.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members management and crossfunctional departments.
  • Leadership experience or potential with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.
