Manufacturing Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following: other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.

• Initiates paperwork for engineering changes to improve manufacturability of products on the shop floor.
• Responsible for inputting new routers and modifying existing routers when needed.
• Generating routers for stock purges, and for reworks as needed.
• Generate necessary paperwork for temporary directives.
• Active role in root cause corrective action process, including training of operators on customer returns and failures
• Troubleshoot and improve current manufacturing processes on the shop floor.
• Active participation in 6s, lean initiatives, continual improvement, and any other program deemed necessary by management.
