Manufacturing Coordinator

Position: Manufacturing Coordinator

Location: Troy MI 48084
Duration: 11 months Contract
Pay Rate :$21.58 per hour with benefits

Roles & Responsibilities:

Receive shipments using operating system SAP.
Must be able to read and write correspondence.
Must be able to learn and understand how material flows in and out of the facility.
Good math skills/ computing multiple quantities
Able to understand the receiving process. ASN Advanced Shipping Notice Manual Creation of an ASN
Cross reference of material numbers
Work with planning team as needed.
Read and decipher vendor invoices.
Must be able to unload and load trucks with forklift.
Must be able to drive a forklift safely.
Must be able to put material in the correct bin locations.
Consolidate material in bin locations.
PPE safety shoes in warehouse safety glasses on production floor
Must be willing to help in all areas of shipping and receiving when called on.
Self starter see what needs to be done and do it without being told.
Must be willing to learn other processes as needed.
Must be flexible mentally and physically to handle high volume situations. Must have a positive attitude to cope with changing workflows.
Follow up is a must.
Attention to detail.
If processes need to be improved or changed set up meetings with the pertinent people to address the issue.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for the entire duration of shift.
Ability to drive forklift and obtain forklift license
Require strong interpersonal skills

Technical savvyutilize various computer applications and systems to research items.
SAP Microsoft Office
Processing small parcel packages through fedex and ups software.
