Manual Mill and Lathe Operator

Now Hiring for a skilled and experienced Manual Mill and Lathe Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating manual mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have 10 years of Manual Lathe and Mill experience.Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual mills and lathes including selecting and installing tooling adjusting speeds and feeds and performing machine alignments.Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine machining requirements.Perform various machining operations such as milling turning boring drilling and threading.Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications and document results.Maintain proper cleanliness and organization of the work area.Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.May be required to lift and move heavy objects.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 10 years of experience operating manual mills and lathes.Thorough understanding of machining principles and practices.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.Proficient in basic math and measurement skills.Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects.Benefits:Competitive salaryOpportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects.Stable and growing company environment.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Job Type: FulltimeSalary: $27.00 $34.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftExperience:manual lathe and mill operator: 10 years (Preferred)Shift availability:Night Shift (Required)Work Location: In person
