Our client a most awesome company has an immediate opening for a full time Managing Director Sourcing and Procurement Not For Resale at their HQ located in Columbus OH.

Reporting to the Managing Director Client Services you will

  • be responsible for leading and managing the Not for Resale sourcing and procurement business function.
  • lead an existing team of procurement professionals while engaging with all relevant client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • acting as the Not for Resale Spend Chief Procurement Officer the Managing Director will have responsibility for $875MM in spend across all Categories including Facilities Corporate Services Information Technology Marketing Packaging and FF&E.
  • assure achievement of category management plans operational redesign and process improvements and savings goals.
  • establish the overall Not for Resale Spend governance structure in collaboration with Senior Client Executive Sponsors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree
  • 15 years or progressive leadership experience in strategic sourcing & procurement across a broad set of Not for Resale categories
  • Strong financial acumen with multiyear experience building managing and delivering against P&Ls
  • Demonstrated success in managing vendors and experience in highvalue contract negotiations
  • Disciplined negotiator in complex sourcing or multidimensional businesses; ability to balance cost cash speed and service considerations
  • Entrepreneurial aptitude with a commitment to client service
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to develop relationships communicate effectively and influence senior level management.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel/financial analysis and PowerPoint/presentations
  • Proven Innovator with significant demonstrated experience in driving operational and organizational change management
  • Ability to gain consensus across multiple business units company wide
  • Strong problem solving and leadership skills
  • Ability to successfully function at a strategic level as well as a handson tactical individual contributor that is comfortable in the details
