Managing Director

• Statutory business administration and procedures
  
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.) and write detailed reports for the CEO.
  
• Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
  
• Effective teamwork and self-management
  

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Operations Management or any relevant qualification;
  
• A minimum of 4- 5 years senior management experience particularly with, but not limited to
  

Must be technology savvy (IT inclined- paperless reporting);

• Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or Managing Director
  
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  
• Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  
  

• Leadership: An MD must have excellent leadership skills, business acumen and ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team
  
• Strategy: They must excel at strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things; and be creative, a visionary, and manage innovation well
  
• Completion-oriented: An MD must be results-driven
  
• Understands finance: The MD must have a track record of successful financial management
  
• Decision-making skills: A successful MD must have superior decision-making skills
  
• Delegation: Must have the ability to delegate effectively
  
• Communication: The MD must possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skill in negotiating and mediating conflict
