The Role


We are now recruiting the
Manager Pricing, Reimbursement & HTA, Hungary
role, who will plan, implement and coordinate local HEOR projects relating to health economics, epidemiology and quality of care in close alignment with the local market access, medical and marketing functions.


Key responsibilities


Provides input for local HEOR initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring that these studies are optimally designed and implemented.
Prepares requests for proposals, solicits proposals from outside researchers and reviews their merits. Makes recommendations on external collaborations.
Collaborates effectively with outside researchers and local business units in managing HEOR projects.
Identifies data needs and outlines appropriate research methods for local adaptation of the global strategy.
Responsible for coordinating, planning and implementing submissions to Health Technology Assessment bodies to secure, maintain and expand market access across the BMS portfolio.
Represents local market on European and global Health Outcomes working parties, helping develop the value proposition, HTA dossier and research strategies to differentiate the products.
Promotes the integration of HEOR into local market activities, assisting in the development of effective communication tools and programs for optimal market access.
Increases the internal awareness and understanding of HEOR deliverables and its local relevance.
Interacts effectively with internal and external partners and customers, serving as a credible expert on the value proposition of development and in-line compounds.
Is a fully participating member of the EU/Global Pricing & Reimbursement and Outcome Research group by monthly teleconferences, meetings and any support like providing best available prices on the Hungarian market.
Follows all healthcare system reforms and regulations regarding pricing and reimbursement.
Is fully responsible for preparation, submission and monitoring of pricing and reimbursement/therapeutic program dossier according to the companys strategy.
Provides any pharmacoeconomic arguments and support in interactions with the MoH and NHIF at the central and regional level within dedicated budgets.
Actively participates in the pricing and reimbursement working party at the Hungarian pharma trade association.
Remains an excellent relationship with all external stakeholders to ensure market access of the companys products.
Contributes to mapping and identifying key stakeholders (NHIF, MoH, KOLs) for new assets, supports for building fruitful partnership with them via regular field presence. (double visits with senior MA manager, MA lead, medical, commercial; attends regularly meetings and negotiations with NHIF & MoH; participates in local/international events)


Experience and Reuirements:


Life science degree (medical, biochemical, biology) or health economy degree
Experience in analyzing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking and implementation tactical plans.

Minimum 2 years of previous experience working on outcomes research, health economics or market access issues in the pharmaceutical industry.

Previous responsibility for coordinating local or regional market access submissions required.
Experience in preparation of reimbursement dossiers
Experience in development of pricing strategy
Demonstrated ability to communicate information effectively to a variety of individuals in an manner that promotes productive relationships
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with self-motivation under tight timelines.
Experience in analyzing complex issues, utilizing strategic thinking and implementation tactical plans.
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Fluency in English
Understanding of health care economics, policies and practices
Very good understanding of local HTA agency requirements
Proven experience on development HTA dossier
General understanding of statistical methods and tests
