Manager-Optometrist required for Maldives

WE HAVE AN OPENING FOR AN OPTOMETRIST CUM STORE POSITION IN MALDIVES

We are the local partner for ZEISS and we are looking for a Manager Optometrist to expand ZEISS brand in Maldives and to manage our outlet.

Designation: Manager Optometrist

Qualification: B.Sc Optometry

Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a well established eye care hospital/clinic/optical as an Optometrist and Minimum 1 year managerial experience

Language requirement: Must be fluent in English

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases such as glaucoma.
• Prescribe eyeglasses contact lenses and other visual aids and if state law permits medications.
• Provide treatments such as vision therapy or lowvision rehabilitation.
• Ensures quality of eye measurements lens fitting on frames conduct quality inspection before the glasses are delivered to the customer
• Familiarity with ZEISS lenses would be an advantage

Management Responsibilities

• Manage the team and store operations
• Achieve sales targets
• Organise Manage and Conduct eye camps in Male City Resorts and Inhabited Islands
• Provide regularly necessary qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales and stock as well as customer feedback.
