Management Accountant

2024 is continuing to provide sustainable growth within OCU Group. Due to this continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join our financeteam in our Stockport head office.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Preparation of management accounts including journal postings group reporting pack and Board report.
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary of performance and variances to expectations and business case.
• Provide contract level reporting for operational and commercial review utilising existing financial systems.
• Month end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting the annual external audit process.
• Support the transition of the business onto Microsoft Dynamics which will take place in the next 36 months.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls.
• Ensure adherence to Groups financial reporting policies and processes.
• Preparation of weekly cash forecasting where necessary.
• Link with transactional finance team to maximise working capital cycle.

Skills and Experience:

• A qualified accounting professional (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• Experience in delivering management accounts from start to finish.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial systems.
• A proven ability to deliver under pressure.
• Great communication skills this person will interact across all levels of the business including senior operational and commercial leaders.
