We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Management Accountant to become part of our fastgrowing team as we continue to onboard new clients.

Tasks

You will be a Management Accountant responsible for your own portfolio of multi site cleints.

Most of our clients range from 2 10 sites with no finance teams in place. It will be your job to act as the main point of contact for all things finance within their businesses.

Due to the nature of the industry we service our clients finances are complex and so are their systems. We integrate with all of our clients systems anything from POS systems to stock & inventory and payroll.

You will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts for your clients on a regular basis posting accrual prepayment and other relevant journals as well as preparing monthend management accounts reports with commentary.

Youll also produce other ad hoc reports for your clients as well as preparing VAT returns cashflow forecasting & budget setting.

As a Management Accountant youll be required to build and maintain strong relationships with your clients advising on best practices and producing ad hoc reports for them.

Youll at times need to work together with other team members to meet deadlines.

Requirements

First and foremost youll need to have at least 3 financial year cycles of experience from a previous Management Accountant or similar role holding a part or full ACCA / CIMA / AAT qualification.

Youll be excited by client interaction. To be successful in this role youll need to know when to pick up the phone offer a Zoom or just to say Hi how are you

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and specifically Excel Lookups and Pivot tables will be essential.

Having knowledge of Xero is also highly desirable for this Management Accountant position but not essential as training can be provided.

Being organised and methodical is really important. Youll need to be able to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines.

We need someone who is adaptive and able to learn quickly. An interest in new technology and cloud software would be ideal too!
